Grateful May 29, 2008
Most people close to me know that I have been in a difficult place lately. The most amazing piece I am taking away from all of this is how grateful I am to the people who care about me.
I have always struggled with “fitting in.” It just always felt like I didn’t belong. Well, lately, God has shown me that although I may not fit in in the mainstream sense, he has created little pockets of safety in friends.
It has been so touching to have people go out of their way to give me a hug, sympathize, or just to tell me that I have been on their hearts and they are in prayer over me. What more can a person ask for?
For a person who has security issues and trouble adapting to new people, it is such a blessing to have someone take the step and reach out to me. It is wild to me how many people have stumbled into my life lately. Some whom I have not spoken to in years just felt the call to contact me and offer friendship. Wow.
This may be the toughest time of my life but in another way it is also the most enlightening and comforting. I am so grateful.

I have to admit…I am pooped and have a headache…my favorite part is not exactly jumping out at me!
My boy obeyed me and stayed in the cart at Target the WHOLE trip! This is truly amazing and made the trip I slightly feared much more easy to handle! Thanks Kiddo!
